Breakfast Smoothie
This Breakfast smoothie can be changed to include your favourite ingredients. I will add some different combinations over the next few weeks. If you find some good ones let me know and we can publish them.
Ingredients
- Base ingredients
- porridge oats (hafer/ oat meal) - 2 tablespoons
- chia seeds - 1/2 tablespoon
- linseeds - 1/2 tablespoon
- greek yoghurt - 2 tablespoons
- milk - 1 cup
- For peach and ginger smoothie
- tinned or fresh peaches - 1 to 2 peaches
- pickled ginger - 1 slice about 1 teaspoon
- For Strawberry and Banana
- banana - 1/2 to 1 depending on size
- strawberries - handful
This Breakfast smoothie can be made over night, this makes a more filling drink as the seeds and oats absorb the milk. Chia and linseeds have several health benefits. I have included my current favourite recipes of tinned peaches and pickled ginger if that sounds too scary make strawberry and banana instead.
